2012 Summer Dance Camps

Our 2012 Summer Camps are fun-filled, half-day, week-long camps running from June 25th - August 24th. Tuition is $260.00 per 5-day camp, $210 per 4-day camp and while non-refundable, tuition is transferable to another open camp or future class with a minimum two week notice. Students registering for 3 or more camps are eligible for a 10% discount on the 3rd and additional camps. You can register online, by phone (703-533-8830) or in-person at the studio.

> Ballerina Princess Camp (age 3-7) Budding ballerinas age 3-7 will have a royal week of ballet classes, games and activities sure to delight every little princess. This special week will culminate with a Ballerina Princess story presentation for friends and families on the last day of camp.

> Hip Hop Jamz Camp (age 7-12) Campers age 7-12 will love a full week of funky Hip Hop fun. Dancers will learn all the latest moves and choreography as well as explore their own “free-style” movement personality and create and star in their very own Hip Hop Music Video to be presented on the last day of camp! Don't miss out!

> Pop Diva Camp (age 3-7) Future Pop Divas age 3-7 will delight in dance activities with tons of attitude and style. From daily Jazz classes set to their current pop music faves, fun games, and wearable art projects, to our end of the week dance presentation and fashion show, campers are sure to have a blast.

> Ballerina Dreams Camp (age 7-12) Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a professional Ballerina? Campers age 7-12 can experience a week in the life with classes, rehearsals and performances like a real ballerina! Learn about the discipline and the fun that goes into being a pro. Then cap off the week with a glamorous performance complete with costumes and staging.

> Dance Mania Camp (age 3-7) Does your little camper age 3-7 just love to move?!? Then this is the camp for you! There's never a dull moment as campers explore Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tumbling all in one week! A great opportunity to try out a new dance style or get introduced to everything at once. Dancers will present a showcase of their impressive new skills on the final day.

> Triple Threat Camp (age 7-12) Does your aspiring dance star age 7-12 have what it takes? This is their chance to work on the big three - Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. From there, anything's possible! Whether they have prior experience or are just getting started, campers learn what it means to be a true “triple-threat,” ready for any dance challenge. Join us on the last day for a So You Think You Can Dance-style presentation where you never know what style of dance might pop up!
  • July 9th-13th 1pm-4pm
> Ultimate Dance Adventure Camp (age 3-7) Campers age 3-7 will exercise their bodies and their imaginations as they embark on a different dance adventure each day. Dance with ocean creatures under the sea, be a tight rope walker or acrobat at the circus, float with astronauts and aliens in outer space, and so much more! Each day will be filled with themed games, story adventures, and creative dances using props and costumes. The adventures culminate with a presentation of their experiences on the final day.

> Broadway Bound Camp (age 3-7 and age 7-12) Budding Broadway stars will dance, act, and sing their way through an exciting week of theater fun. Just like Broadway professionals, our campers will have daily classes including Broadway style Tap, Jazz and Musical Theater, Broadway-themed games and activities. To cap off the week our stars will present their very own Broadway Review! Age 3-7

> Dance Around the World Camp (age 3-7 and age 7-12) This week's globe trotting campers will experience dance as they travel the world! First stop, Paris to learn the origins of ballet and dance at the Eiffel Tower - crepes for lunch anyone? :) Then off to Spain for some Flamenco and Salsa dancing - bring your castanets! Next we'll hop back across the Atlantic to the bright lights of Broadway in NYC, to Chicago, birthplace of jazz, and on to the West Coast for the contemporary grooves of hip hop in LA. Campers will present a short sample of each for friends and family on the final day. Come fill your passport as you dance around the world! Age 3-7
